Looking for a maid cafe in Namba? Many places you find will have an address in neighboring Nipponbashi, the area around Den Den Town. The two areas sit next to each other, so a Namba search can still lead you to the right neighborhood for a maid cafe visit.
This guide compares addresses, posted hours and selected menu or set prices so you can plan a visit. For another look at the neighborhood, see our Nipponbashi maid cafe guide. Check each venue's official page before you go: hours, events and service terms can change.
Are There Maid Cafes in Namba?
Yes. The cluster around Namba is mainly in Naniwa-ku, with venues in Namba-naka and neighboring Nipponbashi. That distinction matters when you check an address: a cafe listed under Nipponbashi can still be relevant to a Namba itinerary.
Nipponbashi is also home to Den Den Town. If anime and merchandise are part of your plans, our Den Den Town guide covers that side of the area. You can use the addresses below to decide which cafe fits alongside the rest of your day.
The four maid cafes compared below do not all use the same pricing format. Some list prices per item, while others charge by the hour and extend your time automatically until you leave. Check the service system as well as the location before choosing: a drink price, a set price and a time charge are different things, and one figure alone may not describe your whole visit. At the end, we also list one nearby cafe that is not a maid cafe, for anyone in your group who prefers a regular cafe.
Etiquette Basics
Rules vary by venue, so follow the instructions posted by the shop. These are common practices to keep in mind:
- Ask before photographing staff. Do not take staff photos without permission.
- Do not touch staff. Keep personal boundaries in mind throughout your visit.
- Check the payment system. Some cafes charge by the hour with automatic extension, so note your arrival time and ask if you are unsure what is included.
- Use the shop's preferred terms of address. You may hear ご主人様 or お嬢様; follow the venue's own practice.
These are general tips, not a substitute for a particular cafe's rules. Look at the official page and any information provided when you arrive, especially if you want to take a photo or are deciding which set to order.
Maid Cafes Near Namba Compared
The prices below were listed on the operators' sites on 5 November 2026. Check each linked official page for current prices and terms before visiting. Addresses are in Osaka; hours are those posted at the time of the check and may change.
1. CCOちゃ (CCOcha)
CCOcha is in Namba-naka. Its official site describes it as Nipponbashi's first maid cafe. If you are starting your search with Namba, its address gives you a useful point to check against your other plans.
- Address: 2-4-8 Namba-naka, Naniwa-ku, Osaka 556-0011
- Posted hours: Weekdays 15:00–20:30; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 12:00–20:30. Last order is 20:00.
- Closed: Second and fourth Tuesdays; if a closure falls on a holiday, the preceding Monday. The listed November 2026 closure dates are 10 and 24 November.
- Sample menu: Iced coffee ¥850, omakase soda ¥1,000, cake set ¥2,700, 王道 set ¥3,300 and drawn omurice ¥1,500. These prices exclude tax.
- Charges: The official menu page lists item prices before tax. Ask staff about any table or time charge when you are seated.
The site's event banner gives the shortened hours above, while an older footer mentions longer hours. Events can affect the schedule, so consult the official site for the latest information. You can also review the menu before choosing between a drink, food or a set.
2. Cafe Andante
Cafe Andante is a maid cafe in Nipponbashi with a mansion-style theme and a chandelier interior. Its posted schedule starts at 14:00 on weekdays and noon on weekends and holidays, which can help you decide whether it fits an afternoon visit.
- Address: 4-3-14 Nipponbashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka 556-0005
- Hours: Monday–Friday 14:00–22:00; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 12:00–22:00.
- System: The official SYSTEM page states that time is extended automatically (自動延長制), and the operator announced a system change in June 2023. Prices are on the drink, food and dessert menus linked from the SYSTEM/MENU page.
- House rules: No photos or videos inside (ask first if you want to photograph your food), and no touching staff.
Because time extends automatically, decide roughly how long you want to stay before you sit down. Check the official Cafe Andante site before setting your budget, and compare the terms there with the other venues rather than assuming that every cafe handles a visit in the same way.
3. Cafe Doll
Cafe Doll opened on 10 January 2005 and is in Nipponbashi. It charges by the hour, with drinks and karaoke included, which makes the cost of a visit easy to estimate.
- Address: 5-4-20 Nipponbashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka
- Hours: 11:00–22:00 daily, year-round.
- Access: About three minutes on foot from Ebisucho subway, according to the site.
- Time charge: ¥1,200 + tax per hour with all-you-can-drink soft drinks and karaoke, or ¥1,700 + tax per hour with alcohol. The same prices apply in cafe time (11:00–17:00) and bar time (17:00–22:00).
- Automatic extension: Your time extends automatically, so the bill grows by the hour until you leave.
- Cheki offer: The shop offers one free cheki (instant photo) if you post a review on Google Maps; a Google account is required.
- House rules: No photos or videos inside (ask first for food photos), and no touching staff.
- Other: Free Wi-Fi.
Check the official system page for current conditions. If you are comparing it with an individual drink elsewhere, remember that the hourly charge covers your seat time and unlimited soft drinks, not a single drink.
4. MaidCafe Cotton
MaidCafe Cotton is a dream-sheep-themed maid cafe in Namba-naka. Its current format ends on 15 November 2026, and it temporarily closes from 16 November for renewal. Do not plan a visit after that date based on the regular hours below without checking for an update.
- Address: Active Escort 101, 2-6-19 Namba-naka, Naniwa-ku, Osaka
- Posted hours: Weekdays 18:00–23:00; weekends 15:00–22:00.
- Event: A thanksgiving event is listed for 2–15 November 2026.
- Closure: Temporary closure for renewal starts 16 November 2026, according to the official news dated 3 November.
If your trip falls during the event or around the closure, consult the official Cotton site for the latest schedule and terms. No reopening date is confirmed in the information used for this guide, so check the operator's announcements before making it part of a later itinerary.
Nearby Non-Maid Alternative: Milkcafe
If someone in your group would rather sit in a regular cafe, Milkcafe is close to Ebisucho Station. It is not a maid cafe: its official site says it does not offer concept-cafe-style service and is a cafe and restaurant for general customers, with a steampunk first floor and a French court-style second floor.
- Address: Morioka Building 1F, 5-12-3 Nipponbashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka
- Hours: Monday–Thursday and Sundays/holidays 12:00–23:00; Friday–Saturday 12:00–01:00
- Access: The official site lists Sakaisuji Line Ebisucho Exit 1-B as a zero-minute walk away
- Sample menu: Espresso ¥600 and cocktails from ¥900; no table charge, and one drink is fine
Check the official Milkcafe page for the current menu.
Umeda Maid Cafes?
This guide covers the maid cafe cluster around Nipponbashi and Namba-naka, next to Namba, and does not list venues in Umeda. If you are staying in Umeda, Namba is a short subway ride away on the Midosuji Line.
How to Visit
Step 1: Pick a venue whose hours fit. Compare the posted opening and closing times with your plans, including the day of the week. CCOcha's last order is earlier than its listed closing time, and some venues open later on weekdays.
Step 2: Check closures and events. Visit the operator's page close to your trip. This is especially important for Cotton: its current format ends on 15 November 2026 and its temporary closure begins the next day. CCOcha also lists regular closure days and notes that event hours can change.
Step 3: Budget for a set or drink. Look at the actual system, not just the lowest menu figure. CCOcha's menu prices exclude tax, while Cafe Doll charges ¥1,200 + tax per hour and Cafe Andante also extends time automatically. Confirm current prices and conditions on the relevant official page.
Step 4: Follow the house rules. Read the shop's instructions when you arrive. Ask before photographing staff, respect personal boundaries and follow the listed payment and address practices. If a term or charge is unclear, check with the venue before ordering.
FAQ

Yes. CCOcha and MaidCafe Cotton have Namba-naka addresses, although Cotton temporarily closes for renewal from 16 November 2026. Several other venues are in neighboring Nipponbashi.
Is Nipponbashi the same area as Namba?
Nipponbashi sits next to Namba. Many searches for a Namba maid cafe lead to Nipponbashi addresses in Naniwa-ku, so it helps to check the address as well as the name of the area.
How much does a visit cost?
It depends on the venue and its system. For example, as listed on 5 November 2026, CCOcha's iced coffee was ¥850 before tax, while Cafe Doll charged ¥1,200 + tax per hour, including soft drinks and karaoke, with automatic extension.
