12 Osaka Fashion Shopping Areas: Hours and Access (2026)
*Last updated: November 2026*
Osaka's fashion shopping ranges from station-connected department stores to large suburban malls and airport outlets. These 12 destinations are operating, but individual shops and pop-up stores change frequently. Use the linked official directory before visiting for a particular brand.
Hours below are the regular hours published by each facility. Holiday, event and maintenance schedules can change them; restaurant hours often differ from shop hours.
1. Namba Parks
Namba Parks combines fashion and lifestyle stores with its stepped rooftop gardens. It is a useful rainy-day option because the complex connects directly to Nankai Namba Station.
- Hours: Shops 11:00–21:00; restaurants generally 11:00–22:00. Some stores differ.
- Access: Direct from Nankai Namba Station; approximately 7 minutes on foot from Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Namba Station.
- Cost: Free to enter; purchases and parking are extra.
See the official Namba Parks access page and facilities information.
2. Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store
The department store occupies the lower section of the 300-meter Abeno Harukas complex. Fashion, cosmetics and accessories can be combined with the separately ticketed observatory rather than treated as one attraction.
- Department store hours: B2F–11F 10:00–20:00; Abeno Harukas Dining on 12F–14F generally 11:00–22:00.
- Access: Directly beside Kintetsu Osaka-Abenobashi Station and close to JR and Osaka Metro Tennoji stations.
- Observatory cost: Same-day admission is ¥2,200 for visitors aged 15 and over and ¥900 for ages 6–14; eligible preschool children enter free. The observatory is optional and normally open 9:00–22:00.
Check the official department store and observatory ticket page. Observatory re-entry is not allowed with a same-day ticket, and last admission is 30 minutes before closing.
3. Daimaru Shinsaibashi
Daimaru Shinsaibashi offers department-store fashion and luxury brands at the southern end of the Shinsaibashi shopping district. Tax-refund counters are listed separately from regular shop floors, so allow time for procedures.
- Hours: Main buildings 10:00–20:00; the Main Building 10F restaurant floor 11:00–22:00. Individual floors and tenants vary.
- Access: Connected by underground walkway to the South Gate of Osaka Metro Shinsaibashi Station.
- Cost: Free to browse; tax-refund eligibility and any counter fee should be confirmed in store.
The official English hours and access guide lists current floor-specific exceptions. For more of the surrounding district, see the Shinsaibashi shopping guide.
4. Mitsui Outlet Park Osaka Kadoma
This entry now refers specifically to Osaka Kadoma, not the former Osaka Tsurumi outlet. Osaka Tsurumi closed on March 12, 2023; Osaka Kadoma opened on April 17, 2023. Use the full name when searching maps or transport directions.
- Hours: Shops 10:00–21:00; restaurants generally 11:00–22:00; food court 10:00–21:00. Some stores differ and holiday closures are irregular.
- Access: Approximately 8 minutes on foot from Keihan Kadomashi Station.
- Cost: Free to enter. Paid shuttle buses from Namba and Shinsaibashi are listed by the operator, but routes can change on event days.
Confirm current transport notices on the official access page and regular hours on the official hours page.
5. Namba City
Namba City is a long, station-integrated shopping complex with fashion, shoes, accessories and services. Its Main and South buildings make it convenient for a short stop before a Nankai train journey.
- Hours: Shops 11:00–21:00; restaurants generally 11:00–22:00. Namba Comejirushi and some other tenants keep different schedules.
- Access: Direct from Nankai Namba Station; approximately 2 minutes from Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Namba Station according to the facility's access guide.
- Cost: Free to enter.
See Namba City's official access information and visitor services. The official overseas-visitor page lists a tax-refund counter and states that a 2.1% tax-refund handling fee applies; check eligibility before purchasing.
6. Hanshin Umeda Main Store
Hanshin's Umeda flagship is a practical central stop for clothing, accessories and its well-known food floors. Do not confuse it with the nearby Hankyu department store.
- Hours: Main store 10:00–20:00. Restaurant and café hours vary; the official guide lists later hours for several dining floors.
- Access: About 1 minute from Hanshin Osaka-Umeda Station, 4 minutes from JR Osaka Station and 1 minute from Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Umeda Station.
- Cost: Free to browse.
Use the official global store guide and official access page. For nearby alternatives, see Umeda shopping places.
7. Herbis Plaza and Herbis Plaza ENT
Herbis is an Umeda complex focused on fashion, jewelry, beauty and dining. The original article's individual brand and bridal-store names should not be used as a current directory; consult the live floor guide instead.
- Hours: Shopping generally 11:00–20:00; restaurants generally remain open later, with store-specific schedules.
- Access: Immediately beside Hanshin Osaka-Umeda Station's West Gate and approximately 2 minutes from JR Osaka Station's Sakurabashi Gate.
- Cost: Free to enter.
The official Herbis access guide also identifies the airport limousine bus terminal beside Herbis Plaza ENT. Check the official Herbis website for holiday closures and current tenants before making a brand-specific trip.
8. Rinku Premium Outlets
Rinku Premium Outlets is in Izumisano, across the water from Kansai International Airport. It is an outdoor outlet center rather than a shop inside the airport, so allow time for the train or bus and the walk.
- Hours: March–January 10:00–20:00; February only 10:00–19:00. The next scheduled annual closure listed by the operator is February 25, 2027.
- Access: Approximately 6 minutes on foot from JR or Nankai Rinku-Town Station. From Kansai Airport, the train takes about 6 minutes to Rinku-Town; the Sky Shuttle bus from Terminal 1 takes about 15 minutes.
- Cost: Entry is free. The Sky Shuttle is ¥300 for adults and ¥150 for children, one way.
See the official outlet page and train and bus directions. Compare other discount destinations in the Osaka outlet malls guide.
9. Doton Plaza
Doton Plaza is a specific building in the Dotonbori area, not a collective name for every shop along Dotonbori Street. Its tourist services and duty-free shopping can be useful, but it should not be presented as a full-scale clothing mall.
- Hours: The official information page lists 9:00–20:30; some restaurants and cafés have different hours.
- Access: About 5 minutes on foot from Nippombashi Station Exit 6 and about 10 minutes from Namba Station Exit 15.
- Cost: Free to enter; shopping and any services are priced separately.
Check the official Doton Plaza information page shortly before visiting, particularly for airport transport and current shop availability.
10. Abeno Q's Mall
Abeno Q's Mall is a large shopping center near both Tennoji and Abeno stations. It is separate from Abeno Harukas, although the two can be combined on foot in the same shopping trip.
- Hours: Shops 10:00–21:00; Q's Kitchen food court 10:00–22:00; Q's Dining generally 11:00–23:00. Individual stores differ.
- Access: Directly connected to Osaka Metro Tennoji Station Exit 12 and Abeno Station Exit 2; approximately 3 minutes from JR Tennoji Station's South Exit and Kintetsu Osaka-Abenobashi Station's West Gate.
- Cost: Free to enter. Drivers should check the official parking tariff and validation rules rather than assuming parking is free.
Consult the official hours guide and official access and parking page.
11. Tennoji Mio Main Building
Tennoji Mio has Main and Plaza buildings with women's fashion, accessories, cosmetics and other stores. The Main Building remains open, so there is no need to treat it as a former or renamed destination.
- Hours: Main Building shopping floors 10:30–20:30. Main Building restaurant floors are listed as 11:00–22:00 or 11:00–23:00 depending on the area.
- Access: At JR Tennoji Station; follow the station signs toward Mio Main Building. Osaka Metro Tennoji Station also serves the complex.
- Cost: Free to browse.
The official Mio hours page distinguishes the buildings and dining floors. Use its official access page for the current route map.
12. Namba Marui
Namba Marui is a compact department store close to the subway exits in central Namba. It is a separate property from Namba Parks and Namba City.
- Hours: Confirm same-day hours on the official store page; they can vary by date and tenant.
- Access: Approximately 1 minute from Osaka Metro Midosuji Line Namba Station Exit 1, at 3-8-9 Namba, Chuo-ku.
- Cost: Free to browse.
Use the official Namba Marui store and floor guide for current hours and brands. Older recommendations for particular size ranges or named shops may no longer match the directory, so check stock and sizing directly with the retailer.
Choosing the right shopping stop
For a department-store day, choose Daimaru Shinsaibashi, Hanshin Umeda or Abeno Harukas Kintetsu. For outlet shopping, choose Osaka Kadoma or Rinku, allowing extra travel time. Namba Parks, Namba City, Abeno Q's Mall and Tennoji Mio are convenient multi-store complexes, while Herbis suits shoppers looking for a more concentrated fashion and beauty stop. Doton Plaza is best approached as a tourist-oriented building, and Namba Marui as a compact Namba department store.
Before leaving, check the official holiday calendar, floor guide and tax-refund conditions. Outlet prices and available sizes are not guaranteed, and a brand appearing in an older article or saved map may have moved or closed.
