Some of the common rules include turning off flash when taking pictures, and putting your cell phones on silent mode. The staff take these rules very seriously here, as the owls could suffer from blindness due to the sudden camera flashes. This is because they are normally nocturnal creatures whose eyes are meant to be used in the dark at nighttime. On a positive note, the Happy Owl Café chouette reminds us that owls are very fragile, and we must be very careful when handling these delicate creatures. This shop lives up to its name as the staff and owner try to provide a nice and happy environment for both owls and guests!
